Safe and Compliant ADR Transport (Dangerous Goods)

We take the burden of complex regulations off your shoulders. We provide full supervision by an ADR adviser and peace of mind at every stage of the assignment.

ADR transport - hazardous transport we take on ourselves

Organising the transport of dangerous goods is a huge challenge. The complexity of the ADR Convention regulations, the stringent documentation and packaging requirements and the risk of hefty fines for the slightest infraction can be overwhelming. We understand these concerns, as we have been helping our clients get through them safely and stress-free for years.

We transport all classes of dangerous goods. Check which one your cargo belongs to.

Class 1: Explosives and explosive articles

Examples: fireworks, ammunition, airbags

Key requirements: Requires specialised vehicles (EX/II, EX/III), strict adherence to prohibitions on combined charging and extreme safety measures.

Class 2: Gases

Examples: propane-butane, medical oxygen, aerosols

Key requirements: Transport in suitably approved cylinders or tanks, constant monitoring of pressure and temperature, ensuring proper ventilation of the vehicle.

Class 3: Flammable liquids

Examples: paints, varnishes, petrol, spirits, perfumes

Key requirements: Use of sealed, certified packaging, avoidance of sources of ignition, proper labelling of the vehicle and load.

Class 4: Flammable solids and related materials

Examples: sulphur, phosphorus, carbide, aluminium dust

Key requirements: Includes 3 subclasses (flammable solids, spontaneously combustible, water-reactive). Requires protection from moisture, friction and ignition sources.

Class 5: Oxidising materials and peroxides

Examples: nitrate fertilisers, hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide)

Key requirements: The categorical prohibition of transport with flammable materials, often requires strict temperature control to prevent violent reactions.

Class 6: Poisonous and infectious materials

Examples: pesticides, medical waste, diagnostic samples

Key requirements: Using a triple packaging system for infectious materials, ensuring that packaging is absolutely leak-proof, equipping the driver with specialised personal protective equipment.

Class 7: Radioactive materials

Examples: medical isotopes, control and measuring instruments

Key requirements: Transport under strict supervision of the State Atomic Agency, use of specialised shielding and containers, extreme safety procedures.

Class 8: Corrosive materials

Examples: Sulphuric acid, sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), batteries

Key requirements: Use of corrosion-resistant packaging, leak protection, strict loading and unloading procedures.

Class 9: Miscellaneous hazardous materials and objects

Examples: lithium ion batteries, asbestos, certain rescue products

Key requirements: Differentiated, depending on the specific UN number of the goods. Often require special packaging and handling instructions (e.g. for batteries).
